Getting started with SEOTracky

Getting started with SEOTracky

Create your account, add your first project and connect your site in less than 5 minutes.

1. Create your account

Click Get started in the top-right of any page. You can sign up with email and password or with Google in one click. We never ask for a credit card during sign-up.

2. Add your first project

From the Dashboard, hit “New project” and paste your domain (e.g. yourbrand.com). SEOTracky will detect the country, language and CMS automatically.

3. Verify ownership

Add a TXT record, upload an HTML file, or connect Google Search Console. Verification unlocks accurate Search Console data inside your dashboard.

4. Run your first audit

Open the project and click “Run audit”. The crawler will scan up to 10,000 URLs depending on your plan and surface critical issues within minutes.

Pro tips
  • Use a brand-friendly project name — it appears in shared reports.
  • Invite teammates from Settings → Team to collaborate on the same project.

Running a complete site audit

Running a complete site audit

Crawl your website, prioritise issues by impact and export a clean PDF report for your client or CEO.

Configure the crawl

Choose between Fast (top pages only) or Deep (full website). Set the user-agent, respect robots.txt and exclude staging subdomains.

Understand the health score

Your score is computed from 6 pillars: crawlability, indexability, performance, on-page, structured data and mobile UX. Hover any pillar to see the weight.

Fix issues by priority

Errors (red) break SEO, Warnings (yellow) reduce performance, Notices (blue) are nice-to-have. Start from the top — each row links to the affected URLs.

Export and share

Click “Export → PDF” for a branded report, or “Share link” to send a read-only live dashboard to your client.

Pro tips
  • Re-run the audit weekly — SEOTracky highlights regressions automatically.
  • Enable Slack alerts to get notified the moment your score drops.

Keyword research that actually ranks

Keyword research that actually ranks

Find low-competition, high-intent keywords your competitors miss using the SEOTracky Keyword Magic tool.

Seed your topic

Enter a broad keyword like “running shoes”. SEOTracky returns 5,000+ variants grouped by intent (informational, commercial, transactional).

Filter by difficulty and volume

Use the sliders to keep keywords with KD < 30 and volume > 200. These are realistic wins for sites with a domain rating under 40.

Group into clusters

Click “Auto-cluster” to bundle semantically related keywords. Each cluster becomes one pillar page — the foundation of topical authority.

Send to your editorial plan

Use “Send to Content Planner” to assign clusters to writers with target URL, brief and due date in one click.

Setting up rank tracking

Setting up rank tracking

Monitor up to 10,000 keywords daily across Google, Bing and AI engines like ChatGPT and Perplexity.

Import your keyword list

Paste a CSV, connect Google Search Console, or pull directly from a Keyword Magic project. Tags are preserved.

Pick locations and devices

Track up to 50 locations per project — country, region or city — for mobile and desktop separately.

Configure competitors

Add up to 10 competitor domains. The Share of Voice chart will compare your visibility against them over time.

Read the daily report

Every morning at 7am local time, SEOTracky emails a digest: ranking winners, losers, new SERP features and AI mentions.

Pro tips
  • Use tags like “money-pages” or “blog” to filter rankings by funnel stage.

Tracking your AI visibility

Tracking your AI visibility

See how often your brand appears in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews — and how to influence it.

Connect AI engines

Activate ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude from Project → AI Tracking. SEOTracky polls each engine daily with your target prompts.

Define brand prompts

Add 50–200 prompts your customers actually ask. Use the suggestions tab to import questions from Reddit, Quora and People Also Ask.

Read the AI Visibility Index

Your score (0–100) reflects mention frequency, sentiment and citation rank. Compare against competitors on the public AI Visibility Index page.

Optimise for citations

Use the LLMO checklist: clear entity definitions, structured data, expert quotes and concise answers in the first paragraph.

Pro tips
  • AI engines update their indexes faster than Google — re-check weekly.
